Appraisal Fee assessed for valuation of Property by an authorized and licensed appraiser. Up to $700.00
Assumption Fee assessed to the buyer of a property who takes over the seller’s liability for payment of installments (on an existing mortgage) to save on closing costs or higher interest rates on a new mortgage. Varies
Bankruptcy Attorney Fees incurred by your lender’s attorney during bankruptcy filed by the homeowner. The fee amount is based upon the complexity of the case and the number of hours dedicated to the bankruptcy case. These fees must be approved by the Bankruptcy Court. Varies
BPO (Brokers Price Opinion) Inspection and valuation of the Property by a licensed Real Estate Broker. Up to $250.00
Consolidation, Extension, Modification Agreement (CEMA) Fees for processing and handling of collateral documents for consolidation closing. $300 Fee is waived for Caliber to Caliber CEMA
Fax / Payoff Statement Expedited fee to fax Payoff letter upon request. Up to $5.00
Foreclosure Attorney Fees incurred by your lender’s attorney in connection with the foreclosure process. The fees may be based upon the jurisdiction of the foreclosure. Varies
Late Charge A charge assessed when a payment is made after the expiration of the payment grace period. Late charges are based on a contracted amount, loan type and state regulations. Please consult your loan documents or contact our office if you have any questions.
Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) Fee charged for insufficient funds in an account upon which a payment is drawn. Charges are based on a contracted loan amount, loan type, and state regulations. Please consult your loan documents or contact our office if you have any questions.
Partial Release Administrative fee for completing a partial release or easement request. Up to $500.00
Prepayment Penalty Fee incurred for paying off the loan prior to a pre-determined date, not to exceed state guidelines. Varies
Property Inspection Field inspection completed by licensed vendor to determine property occupancy and/or make contact with the borrower during delinquency. Up to $18.00
Property Preservation An expense charged to the loan to ensure that the condition and appearance are maintained on the property. Up to $2,500
Recast Administrative fee for re-amortizing a new principal and interest payment after a curtailment is made. The fee also includes the modification documentation that is prepared and must be executed by the borrower(s) before a recast can be finalized. Up to $250.00
Release / Re-conveyance Fee to record a satisfaction of mortgage or to remove a lien from title. Up to $124.50
Subordination Administrative fee for completing lien subordination requests. Up to $250.00
Title Search A fee that is charged to the loan for a detailed examination of the historical events concerning the property. Up to $500.00
Vacant Property Registration (VPR) Fee that is charged to register a property when property has been identified as vacant. $250.00 to $500.00, subject to state law requirements
Western Union Speed Pay Fee assessed for submitting a payment over the phone with a Caliber representative, through Caliber’s website or through automated phone system. Up to $15.00
