I have been fortunate enough to work alongside Melanie for over 7 years and be friends with her for 10. Until June of 2018, I worked at Caliber as a mortgage loan processor while maintaining my mortgage licenses with the hopes of transitioning back into a sales position. Joining the Pysden Team was an easy decision for me. What better person to grow with, than my longest colleague and friend in the biz, who’s so carefully built a team stacked with some of those most intelligent, thoughtful, and experienced women in this industry.
On our team, I specialize in client services, which ranges from pre-approving and structuring purchase and refinance loans, lead generation and tracking, answering post-closing questions in addition to assisting Melanie by managing The Pysden Team. I have always prided myself on my efficiency, organization, being thorough and thoughtful and providing open communication. These qualities have served me well in this industry and allowed me the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with our borrowers and referral partners first hand, which is where I truly feel the value is.
When I’m not working, I enjoy being outdoors, whether that be playing sports, BBQing, hiking, camping, you name it! I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest so I’m no stranger to adventuring in our beautiful environment rain or shine. As much as I love Mother Nature, my biggest source of happiness will always be, motherhood (see what I did there!). I am the proud mama to one hilarious and wild child that lights up my world. I’m so happy to be surrounded by wonderful, strong women and mothers who naturally care deeply for the people around them and the people we serve and look forward to the many successes we’ll have as a team.
Honesty and trust are the most important things in my life, and I’m eternally grateful for the relationships I have because of that. Starting in the mortgage industry at the beginning of 2010, I started out by diving head-first in the excitement and my love for lending. There's nothing better than helping someone achieve their dreams and hopefully making them laugh along the way. I’m always available to ensure everything is explained clearly and efficiently, as well as ease the fear in buying or refinancing a home. You will always be able to count on me. Born and raised in Bellingham, when I'm not at work I am at my Lake Samish homestead with my husband raising our two daughters, two dogs, chickens and our growing garden of veggies and fruits. I love reading, camping and going to the lake. If I'm not outside I'm crafting with my girls or listening to music. Oh and… GO HAWKS!
