I’ve enjoyed a 30-year career in the home lending industry, and it’s never become dull. This is because every new borrower represents a new story, perhaps a new challenge, and ultimately a new friendship. When I’m discussing a borrower’s loan options, I always ask myself “How would I want my children, parents, or friends to be treated if they were my borrower?” Together with my experience and extensive mortgage knowledge, my ability to solve problems comes from “thinking outside of the box”. I always listen carefully to my borrowers and share my pro-active outlook and attention to detail. I’m fortunate to be involved with supporting local nonprofits such as Songs and Hugs for Seniors, DVSAS, Lydia’s Place, Lighthouse Mission, Newman Center, FOCUS and Childcare International. I’ve also served as Board member and volunteer with the Whatcom County Pregnancy Clinic. And in my spare time I cook, sing (doesn't everyone sing while they cook?), hike, paddle-board, and enjoy being a mother and wife to my loving family.
