I am passionate about helping people with their mortgage financing. With more than 30 years in the industry, navigating through several economic cycles, and experiencing several different lending platforms, I have the experience needed to help you with your mortgage needs. Working with the First-Time Homebuyer I have taught First Time HomeBuyers Classes for many years. Those who are preparing to enter the buying market get an opportunity to learn the process and educate themselves on the what, why and how of the loan experience. My belief is that if the first experience is completed with intention, it sets them up for success on their next buying experiences. When the loan is ready to close, these buyers are comfortable and confident about their decision to buy and the signing is a celebration of the next era in their lives as homeowners.

The Experienced Borrower The questions of an experienced borrower are different. They are looking to structure the mortgage within their overall financial picture. This means working with me to review their goals and needs so that I give scenarios with data this borrower needs to make that decision. This can be buying a larger home, refinancing to pull cash to pay off debt or invest, purchasing an investment property, or downsizing for the retirement years. I work well in tandem with the Financial Planner and CPA to make a cohesive plan that leaves borrowers sleeping peacefully at night.

On a Personal Note I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and am a daughter to parents who were each in the mortgage industry (I tease them about having damaged DNA), and while they did not introduce me to the industry directly, I found that it quickly became such a wonderful fit for me professionally, that it was almost providential.

The love of travel is also a passion and I took some time off to travel and live in Europe for about 4 years, volunteering for Teen Challenge, an organization who helps young people with life controlling problems. I have lots of stories, but my favorite one is that during one of these times living in Croatia, I met my husband who is also passionate about helping people.

And of course, the kids are a big part! My husband and I have 2 amazing kids; one girl (at Gonzaga U) and one boy (at Seattle Prep). Both are excellent students and LOVE sports. You will find us nearly every weekend on a basketball court. I love to talk about sports. And kids. And mortgages.
