I often say the business chose me I did not chose it. 
After graduating from college over 20 years ago I took a job as a loan officer assistant.  It was supposed to be a job to help me pay the bills until I found my true path.  Little did I know at the time I was already on it.

My lending experience is very diverse and entails being a 
Loan Originator, Lending Branch Manager, Wealth Investment and Lending Officer, Underwriter, Processor and  Compliance Consultant.

In 2008-2009 I worked on the procedural redesign team for one of the largest financial institutions in the country to restructure the process flow of loans through the intake, processing, underwriting and closing process.

Most recently I  worked for Lancaster Housing Opportunity Partnership as the Credit Lending Officer overseeing the daily operations and assisting in restructuring the First Time Homebuyer Program.  This was an opportunity for me to utilize my multifaceted experience in making the program more palpable in todays market. The program is one of multiple community services serving the Lancaster and York area that directly affects and aides in creating opportunities for first time homebuyers that need assistance to purchase a home.

A Lancaster Native I grew up in the Willow Street Area. I am a graduate of College of Charleston in South Carolina with a double major in Business Communications and Psychology. 

Buying a home and navigating through the lending process can be frustrating and confusing at times. All of the borrowers that I have assisted over more than 2 decades are very special to me.

 For me it is not just a rate it is a relationship.  My service and focus is not just on the steps of the transaction but about customizing and finding the right financing option for each and every borrower. This is not a “one size fits all” experience. 

As a lending professional it is not only my job but my responsibility to help borrowers navigate through the process, to assist all partners in the transaction by being transparent and set proper expectations. 

When I am able to work with a borrower and help them to the finish line in purchasing a home for their family, it is an honor and to be part of one of the largest financial decisions one makes in life.   It is for all those reasons and more that I not only love what I do but have found purpose and meaning in a career that started out merely to be a Segway to the unknown.
